Kent-Moore DT-49743 Adapter, Low Clutch Spring Compressor

DT-49743 is used with previously essential tool DT-47779 to compress the low and reverse clutch spring in the 6L80/6L90 transmission. The adapter ensures the compression loads are evenly distributed on the low clutch sprag, instead of on the retainer plate. Using only DT-47779 could cause damage to the retainer plate by causing it to bend and deform. DT-49743 fits over the end of DT-47779
