Bauer’s new limited edition Supreme GS collection for 2021 is perfect for players who want elite protection and enjoy some military styles and colours in their apparel. The Supreme GS shoulder pads feature many top-of-the-line qualities, including AMP technology, an extended rib wrap, and a new ADAPTIV sternum to shield you against various impacts in the chest area. With its protective capabilities and green/gold tech camo design, the Supreme GS shoulder pads will have you feeling secure in your gear and ready to compete.
Shoulder Caps & Protection
AMP technology, or Active Motion Protection, has been added to the Supreme GS pads’ shoulder caps. This means that whenever you move, whether that be during a battle in the boards, cushioning a pass, or taking a big clapper at the net, the shoulder caps will move with you to make sure you’re protected at all times. This technology is common in many Bauer products because it allows for great freedom of movement while keeping the player shielded from impact.
Sternum Protection
Right at the centre of the pads is a chrome gold and black floating sternum pad to protect the sternum. Sternal injuries are rare but particularly painful and can leave you out of play for four to six weeks. This ADAPTIV Skin sternum that Bauer added acts as an extra layer of defense in that area. It is low profile and conforms to the shape of your body through elastic straps and its strategic, heart-shaped structure.
Spine Protection
The Supreme GS shoulder pads use classic molded high-density foam with a perforated foam base in the spine area. This approach has been used in many elite hockey pads because it works, and Bauer’s calculated contouring will keep you protected in all areas over your back at all times.
Bicep Protection
The biceps on the Supreme GS shoulder pads are fully adjustable with PE inserts to offer some of the best protection and comfort on the market.
Liner
The Supreme GS shoulder pads are equipped with Bauer’s THERMO MAX sub liner to keep you cool while playing. It has been infused with a hydrophobic sweat management coating and an antimicrobial treatment to keep the pads feeling and smelling fresher for longer.
Abdominal Protection Piece
The pads come with a low-profile, black abdominal protection piece on the bottom to secure that sensitive area during tough battles and games.
Sizes
The Bauer Supreme GS JR shoulder pads are available in Small and Medium.
Larger sizes can be found in INT and SR versions.
The following sizes correspond to the circumference of your chest about 1 inch below the armpit. Note that Bauer has readjusted their sizing specs for 2021 to accommodate player sizes better. If you were either a SR Small or JR Large size in Bauer before, your sizes can be found in the INT version.
